One of the biggest misunderstandings about brow lamination is that the hairs must point straight up for several weeks. Lamination makes the hair easier to redirect. It does not require one fixed style.
Wait until the aftercare period stated in your instructions has passed. Then use a clean spoolie and light pressure to guide the hairs into the shape you prefer.
For a soft natural brow
Brush the front hairs slightly upward, then angle the middle and tail outward. This follows the natural curve of the brow and creates lift without making every hair vertical.
For a fuller brow
Brush the hairs upward and slightly outward so they cover more of the brow area. Do not force the ends into a sharp angle. The hair should still bend comfortably.
For a polished brow
Direct the hairs along the outline you want, then smooth the top edge with the side of the spoolie. If needed, add a small amount of brow product after the permitted care period.
Do you need gel?
Some people find their brows stay in place with brushing alone. Others use a light gel for added control. Begin with less product than you used before lamination because the hair may already be easier to shape.
Do not brush aggressively or repeatedly scrape the skin. If the hair feels dry or catches on the spoolie, stop and review the conditioning guidance for your kit.
The best laminated brow is not the one that follows the strongest trend. It is the one you can style in a way that still looks like you.
