Brow lamination is a chemical hair treatment that temporarily makes your natural brow hairs easier to redirect into a different position.
The concept is closely related to lash lifting. Both treatments work with keratin hair and use chemical processing to temporarily alter bonds within the hair so it can be reshaped.
The difference is the result you're trying to create.
With a lash lift, you're trying to lift and curl lashes.
With brow lamination, you're trying to soften and redirect brow hairs so they can be brushed into a fuller looking shape.
A complete brow lamination generally involves three stages.
Step 1 softens the hair and allows it to become more flexible.
Step 2 sets the hair into its new direction.
Step 3 conditions the hair after processing.
The important thing to understand is that brow lamination doesn't create new eyebrow hair and it doesn't permanently glue your brows upward.
It works with the brow hair you already have.
By redirecting hairs that naturally grow downward, sideways, or across each other, you can expose more of the existing brow and create a fuller looking, more manageable shape.
